LaughMD Recovery takes it to a higher level to complement and assist addiction treatment facilities' therapy programs. Our app software assists with data collection, organization, and communication between staff and patients, among many other features.

VAST LIBRARY OF VIDEO CONTENT IS ALWAYS EXPANDING

With emphasis on appropriate humor, motivational and inspirational content, we regularly update, curate, and expand our library. We continually monitor responses and input from our clients and their patients to collect feedback and suggestions to improve our material. We welcome suggestions for customizing content, such as lectures or other teaching material, to complement treatment programs for your facility.
Comedy includes something for everyone; Stand Up, Sketch Comedy, Cartoons and Animation, Funny Animals, Funny Babies, Classic TV Shows, etc.
Inspirational and Motivational content videos include lectures and talks with subjects on dealing with addiction, self-help subjects such as dealing with relationships, planning for the future, striving for success, and mediation videos.

Communication

Our internal messaging system allows staff and patients to message each other. We have also included a suggestion box and video feedback messaging.
The activities calendar streamlines all detailed scheduling and reminders for items such as mealtimes, face-to-face and group meeting schedules, exercising and outings, etc.

Patient Organizer

Features including the Personal Notes, Journal/Diary, To-Do List, Future Plans, and the Goodbye Addiction Letter, give the patient tools to organize their thoughts as they move through the recovery process.
LMDR provides patients and staff with onscreen access to the complete Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions, as well as outside meeting schedules.
The resource section will be customized to your needs for additional reading materials and study programs required by the facility.

Facility Data Collection

The app asks customized questions of the patients as they move through the video content.
Their answers are forwarded to the staff through our HIPAA compliant data system. These questions may include: How many days have you been sober?; Have you called your sponsor today?; Have you taken your meds?; Which step are you on?; Are you interested in any support group?; etc. These answers will be helpful when evaluating patients.
COWS and CIWAS forms can be filled out on each patient through our app, and forwarded through our HIPAA compliant system for review, printing, and insurance submission.
App customization is available to assist with your particular needs in data collection and organization.

Hardware

LMDR provides tablets for the staff and patients which are Wi-Fi-only iPads (no cellular data for security and compliance reasons.)
Tablets are pre-loaded with the facility’s customized LaughMD Recovery App.
The tablets used by patients are locked and cannot access any unauthorized or prohibited apps, social media, internet, email, or other outside communications.
